Director / Occupational Therapist
A highly skilled and experienced clinician, Nichola has 20 years of experience as an occupational therapist. She has worked in hospital, community health and private practice settings with adults affected by a range of conditions.
LACHLAN SHADDOCK
Accredited Hand / Occupational Therapist
Lachlan is a hand therapist accredited through the Australian Hand Therapy Association. His skills, knowledge and experience enable him to provide credible opinions and recommendations for paediatric and adult patients affected by hand, wrist or shoulder conditions.
JACQUELINE BROADBRIDGE
Occupational Therapist
Jacqueline holds a career-long commitment to improvement of the health and occupational wellbeing of individuals and communities through her work within the public sector, private tertiary education sector and voluntary industry participation.
In her current work as a Lecturer, she has pursued research and academic activities, seeking high quality evidence and resources to support practice in undergraduate students as well as practitioners within the occupational therapy sector.
JO BASSETT
Occupational Therapist
Jo has three decades working as an Occupational Therapists and in occupational informed practice across health, community, corporate, education, construction, government, small business, vocational and employment sectors. As an Occupational Therapist Jo’s specialty has been working with people experiencing mental health and psychosocial illness with a focus on employability, work readiness, return to work and development in employment. While her work roles and work settings have been diverse, the consistent elements are and continue to be - people and relationships.
CATHERINE STIRLING
Occupational Therapist
Catherine is a highly skilled and experienced clinician, with almost 20 years working as an Occupational Therapist. Catherine has worked in a range of settings including acute and rehabilitation hospitals, and the community with an emphasis on acquired disability and catastrophic injury. Catherine currently practices as a case manager, as well as providing clinical occupational therapy services to clients with catastrophic injuries.
Jane Hawkless
Occupational Therapist
Jane Hawkless has over 20 years’ experience providing occupational therapy services to adults and children with a strong focus on service delivery within the rehabilitation and disability sectors. She has worked in a variety of settings including hospital, outpatient rehabilitation and community and has worked with a variety of funding bodies including CTP, NDIS, NIIS, iCare and Workcover.
Karli Rutherfoord
Occupational Therapist
Karli has extensive experience providing specialised occupational therapy services to children and adults with disability, their family and their carers. Her skills, knowledge and experience enable her to provide credible opinions and recommendations.
Christine Tracey
Occupational Therapist
Christine has almost 30 years’ experience providing Occupational Therapy Services to adults within the hospital, outpatient and community sectors. She brings substantive and current experience in advanced clinical roles as an Occupational Therapist in rehabilitative, general medical and geriatric services, as well as previous career experience in medicolegal assessments.
Christina Harwood
Accredited Hand / Occupational Therapist
Over the last 20 years, Christina has gained experience in both the private and public sector, working in the UK, WA and Queensland. She has had extensive experience treating patients with multi-trauma of the upper limb including revascularisation and replants, crush injuries, nerve, tendon, ligaments repairs and fractures of all types.
Adrienne Stokes
Occupational Therapist
Adrienne has 17 years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist in both tertiary hospital settings, and community based private practice. Her clinical experience includes working in the areas of orthopaedics, plastics, rehabilitation, cancer & palliative care and neurology.
Amanda Lasco
Occupational Therapist
Amanda has 20 years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist both nationally and internationally.
She has worked with children and adults presenting with developmental, sensory processing and psychosocial needs, emotional regulation challenges, developmental coordination and learning difficulties.
Sarah Higgs
Physiotherapist
Sarah graduated in 2017 from the Griffith University, with a Master's degree in Physiotherapy. Since graduating, she has worked primarily with children presenting with a range of conditions, including neurological diagnoses, severe developmental delay, intellectual impairment, rare chromosomal disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases including vision, speech and hearing impaired.
Emily Beal
Medicolegal Coordinator
Emily has more than 20 years experience in office administration and office management in the private and public sector, and more than 10 years experience in this position.
Emily is the medico legal coordinator at Allied Health Experts. She has more than 5 years experience in this position and has handled some of the country’s largest personal injury claims. Emily’s past experience with the department of justice and attorney general has provided her with the knowledge and experience to confidently handle every referral with the utmost respect, diligence and professionalism. Emily has had experience developing training packages, writing policy and procedure documents and project management. She has an interest in health promotion, community engagement and customer relationships.
Lily Stewart
Medicolegal Coordinator
Lily brings a strong background in customer service and administration. She has a proven ability to deliver a high level of support to both clients and colleagues. Lily supports the coordination of medicolegal matters, ensuring a seamless experience for our referrers. Her attention to detail, organisational skills and approachable nature make her a valuable team member.
Elissa Walker
Accounts Manager
Elissa is the accounts manager at Allied Health Experts. With 17 years’ experience, Elissa has worked with small and large business in a variety of industries including Health, Construction, NDIS, Agriculture, Insurance, Local and State Government and Law Firms.
For the past 12 years Elissa has worked in Allied Health practices. She has an in-depth knowledge of NDIS processes including self-managed, plan managed and NDIA managed participants. She has extensive knowledge of accounting programs and a variety of billing platforms and is a registered BAS Agent.
