Our team offers extensive experience in the production of medico-legal assessment reports for plaintiff lawyers, defendant lawyers and insurers. We provide credible, admissible expert opinion in areas including, but not limited to:
- FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY: Assessment of person's capacity for work or other role.
- DAILY LIVING: The ability to independently complete the regular and customary activities of daily living, both personal and domestic.
- PAST & FUTURE CARE NEEDS: We review the claimant’s previous care needs (if any) against their current care regimen and opine as to any potential future care needs.
- EMPLOYABILITY: The ability for the claimant to return to their regular gainful employment, or in the alternative, the ability for the claimant to obtain other employment that will meet their economic needs, while accommodating any limitations.
- FUTURE THERAPY NEEDS: We will assess and report on the claimants’s current therapy protocols (if any) and determine the need for any future therapy requirements.
- NEED FOR ASSISTIVE DEVICES & EQUIPMENT: We will assess and report on the claimant’s current device and/or equipment dependence and further determine (a) how long the dependence is expected to continue and (b) what devices and/or equipment (if any) will be needed in the future.
- HOME MODIFICATIONS: We will assess the claimant’s home (either in person or via photographs) and determine if any structural modifications need to be made to accommodate equipment or devices such as wheelchairs, lifts, stairway chairs, etc.

- MEDICAL NEGLIGENCE CLAIMS: Including, but not limited to hospitals, nursing homes, doctors, specialists and other medical personnel or facilities that are subject to malpractice and negligence laws.
- WORKPLACE INJURY CLAIMS: Including, but not limited to claims against a workplace for both claimants and workplace defendants.
- MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT INJURIES: All motor vehicle accident injury claims including claims for catastrophic loss (death, dismemberment, paraplegia, quadriplegia and/or significant property loss).
- TOTAL & PERMANENT IMPAIRMENT ASSESSMENTS (TPD): Required when a claimant states that because of a sickness or injury, they are unable to work in their own or any other occupation for which they are suited by training, education, experience or a combination thereof.
- PERSONAL INJURIES: All additional personal injury matters outside of vehicular accident and medical malpractice including, but not limited to: slip-and-fall, trip-and-fall, accidents taking place on public property.
- PSYCHOLOGICAL CLAIMS: Personal injury that affects mental and emotional health and stability including, but not limited to: witnessing of a trauma or tragedy, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), child or relationship abuse affecting current quality of life, workplace stress, trauma or abuse, psychological claims arising from workplace factors and occupational hazards.
- NDIA: Allied Health Experts have a variety of Occupational Therapists who are experienced in providing expert witness reports relating to applications before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT). Our Occupational Therapists are able to comment on referrals regarding access to the NDIS (National Disability insurance scheme) as well as applications for further supports. Having had experience with NDIS participants in the community, our Occupational therapists we well suited to providing an informed opinion and recommendations.
